Rumtse to Tsomiriri Trek
Early morning transfer to domestic airport for you early morning connecting flight to Ladakh. This spectacular mountain flight takes about 70 minutes to Leh.Arrive and transfer to Ladakhi style hotel. Today is for rest and acclimatization and evening visit the Tibetan Bazar.

In the morning , Excursion to Stok and Matho located on the other side of Indus . back to leh and we could see near the city of the small monastery Sankar (Gelugpa) where you can walk through the countryside. Stop at the Shanti Stupa, inaugurated in 1985 by HH The Dalai Lama, And Built by a Japanese order a peace activist in the World.
Overnight stay at Hotel.
In the morning after breakfast, drive to the trekking point (Rumtse). On the way stop at Hemis to visit its monastery, one of the largest and most important of Ladakh. Later, we will continue to Rumtse, where the trek starts to Kyamer(4420 mts). We enter a magnificent and vast area, where the Changpas - nomadic herders take their yak to pasture. We follow the ancient salt along the green Kyamar valley.

We start through beautiful colour gorge towards Chorten Sumda. Easy walk for one hour then ascend towards Kumur La. From the top one can see the beautiful view of the chain of Kangyatse and the chain of Indus valley.

From the pass we get a panoramic view of the Tsokar Lake (4400 mts/14432 ft) and the Rupshu valley. Then descend towards the lake, from which the nomads collect some salt. We will camp near the winter camp of nomad people of Chanthang.
Today we have an easy trek along the lake. On the way one can see many birds and Wild ass (Kyang) of Ladakh and Tibet plateau. At the end of the lake the trail goes right and enter the Nuruchan village.

Today will be a short day trek. Cross the river early in the morning and the trek will follow gradual ascend to Horlam kongka-la (4712 mts) and then again slow descend till the stream. Cross the stream and follow the trail on the right side of the stream to reach Rjungkaru.

Start climbing Kyamayur La (5125 mts) which takes around 2 hrs. The last climb is a tiring one. After the pass the trail leads towards north-east and at the end of the valley trail starts ascending another small pass called Gyama La (5100 mts), from where you can have views of different mountain peaks. Walk down towards north-east and cross the small river and the Gyama lhoma is reached after another river, crossing which is also a base for Korzok pass.

Start an easy ascent to the Korzok pass along the stream. It takes around 2 hrs to reach the top from where you can have the wonderful view of the Lake, following which is the steep walk down to the Korzok village. You can also camp at Korzok Phu where nomad camps are located, around one hour before the lake if you have extra days.

After breakfast walk around the Lake and drive to Leh via Mahey Bridge and Chumathang, a famous hot spring known for its medicinal properties.
