Central Asian Museum

Central Asian Museum is located at Leh market when you take a right turn from the main market. The floors display picture exhibition and other items like relics, maps and several more that belongs to the 16th century.Central Asian Museum in Leh holds various collectionscollected from Central Asia such as antiquities, manuscripts, and cultural artifacts.

Ancient handwritten chronology of the Prophet as well as old handwritten copies of the Quran can be discovered in the museum. The Museum comprises ancient Ladakhi kitchen along with treasures like old caravan water heater, which depicts the mode of life cherished by the Ladakhis in old days.
